Abate Charles is 29 years old. He is a member of Goloko Savings and Agriculture group. He first joined the group in 2022. Through mentorship by a CBF and training in good financial practice, he started a banana crop with a loan 70,000 UGX from the Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA). Now, he earns 50,000 UGX monthly on this venture. He thanks cress for the good support.
Songs Emmanuel is 33 years old. He is a member of Ajuyafe Rich group. He joined the group in 2020. He started his business by getting loans of 300,000 UGX from the VSLA. The business keeps growing currently he makes 35,000 UGX to 40,000 UGX of profit daily. He thanks cress for the wonderful support
Adibayo Yuda is 36 years old. He has been a member of Friendly Savings and Agriculture Group for 4 years. When he began training in agricultural practices, he started growing vegetables with 150,000 UGX from the VSLA for buying seeds and hiring labour. He planted one quarter of onions; from this crop he harvested three sacks which brought 1,850,000 UGX. He made a profit of 1,700,000 UGX, which he reinvested in his community, his business and his family. He thanks cress for the training which gave him the tools and belief to succeed.
