Off to Kampala
An 8 hour day and 2 visits
We all met for breakfast – took Joseph an hour to eat breakfast but we met with Gary Ion whose office is at Namierembe and he is going to drive the team back which is great; but he says they HAVE to be ready on time when he leaves! I suggest he makes the time an hour before he needs to depart!!
The 4 of us then walk down to Cafe Javas for coffees and some air con and some internet! We plan to do 2 hours work but it is amazing how time seems to slip through ones hands in Africa – for example the phones have no air time so that has to be bought and then loaded – this takes 10 -15 minutes!
Then there is so much to talk about!
We leave at 12 noon for Mukono to meet the 2 families – I met Saison the driver – he will take us but I said could he please make sure the car had enough petrol so we do NOT run out on the main road as we did last time he took us!
