DISTRIBUTION OF FIELD ITEMS TO NEWLY RECRUITED COMMUNITY PROCESS FACILITATORS (CPFs) -IMVEPI FIELD LOCATION

New recruits: Utuah Sarah and Amaku Geofry
CRESS Africa Foundation continues to strengthen field-level implementation of its livelihood interventions through the recruitment and facilitation of Community Process Facilitators (CPFs). In line with this commitment and as part of the onboarding and operational support, two newly recruited CPFs for the Imvepi field location were supported with essential operational tools to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency in executing project activities.
The distributed materials are intended to support CPFs in executing their roles effectively:
-
Visibility materials promote identification and increase the visibility of CRESS Africa Foundation within the field communities.
-
Protective equipment safeguards CPFs against harsh weather conditions and facilitates safe movement during field activities.
-
Communication equipment enables timely reporting, coordination, and information sharing with project teams and beneficiaries.
TRAINING COMMUNITY PROCESS FACILITATORS
In March, CPFs took part in training to better serve the Community Savings and Credit Groups (CSCGs). The training further enhanced the knowledge, abilities, competencies, and skills of the CPFs in establishing, training, mentoring, monitoring and running sustainable CSCGs. It also built their capacity, competence, and confidence.
The CPFs support multiple groups as they establish and develop work opportunities and businesses. Part of their work is to equip group members with the best principles and practices of personal financial, savings, investment and debt management in order to attain economic empowerment and sustainable livelihood.
Training CPFs allows for knowledge to pass from them to their groups and beyond into the wider community. In doing this, we hope to empower many people towards sustainable and self-sufficient life.
