Last Saturday 9th November 2024, I had an inspiring Academic Visitation Day to our sponsored student, Juan Susan Nelson in Buddo SS, Kampala. This visit serves to motivate and encourage students to strive for excellence. It was a joy meeting Juan for the first time and witnessing her dedication, resilience, and ambition for success!
Juan is a promising student with impressive grades, eagerly anticipating her upcoming school tour after the term ends. She extended heartfelt thanks to CRESS Africa Foundation and CRESS UK for their support through the scholarship and school tour funds, which will allow her to explore and learn during her geography tour in western Uganda!
Part of Scopas' role with CRESS is to visit our sponsored students at their schools to gain insight into the students' well-being and performance, and to ensure that the resources and support provided through our sponsorship are being used effectively. School visits are an integral part of our sponsorship program, enabling us to ensure accountability, address specific needs, and inspire the children to strive for excellence.
