Edward Mika is undertaking Health & Hygiene Training in Imvepi Refugee Settlement and the bush area around Mijale.

Two days of training took place in Imvepi on the 19th & 20th May and yesterday and today the team are in Mijale.

In 2022 Edward and his team aim to train the 400 women among the CRESS sponsored saving groups in eight groups. Each training session will happen over two days.

As well as knowledge about the advantages of family spacing and the most common illnesses in the area, including malaria and waterborne diseases, all the women are given mosquito nets and instructions on their best use.

We look forward to hearing more details of how the training went and case studies from some of the participants.
