CATT Update
Our Christmas Appeal 2022 will be for transport costs for the Arua team.
As you may know, the area that the refugees from the Diocese of Liwolo settled in Uganda is vast. For connectivity and logistical reasons, the head office of the Diocese is in the northern city of Arua. It takes just over an hour to reach Imvepi Refugee Settlement and about four hours to the clinic and bush settlements around Mijale.
With the increasing cost of fuel and rising inflation in Uganda making repairs, parts and tyres more expensive we have decided this needs to be our focus for our Christmas appeal - to keep the vehicles on the road to keep all the projects - from Agriculture and Savings Groups to the Clinic and Health Outreach.
You can donate here or send any cheques to 'CRESS' at Knighton Manor, Broad Chalke, Salisbury, SP5 5EB.
We are also selling our charity Christmas Cards at The Hub in Broadchalke or you can send them via email, https://www.dontsendmeacard.com/ecards/charities/cress/christmas
With many thanks for your support through 2022 and wishing you joy this Christmas from Caroline and the CRESS team.
