Duku Samuel on Oxygen

Duku Samuel a 52 y/o male within Mijale village 1 km away from the clinic is a known diabetic patient and was brought unconscious, convulsing and in respiratory distress with Glasgow Coma scale of 5/15. He was managed as a patient of Diabetic Coma with complications such as ketoacidosis and hypertensive urgency. Margret Poni, Duku’s first wife had this to say

On behalf of the family), I’m so grateful to the staffs in the clinic for saving the life of our husband, father and friend. Without your urgent professional intervention, we would have lost him (Duku Samuel).

At first, we took him to Kerwa Health Center III where he was refered to Midigo Health Center IV about 8 km away. Due to lack of finances and transport means (ambulance/car), the family made a decision to bring him to the clinic which is about 500 meters from Kerwa Health Center III. As family, relatives and friends of Duku Samuel had already lost hope on his recovery. The clinic staffs reassured us and only requested us to pray for him.
I’m overwhelmed with joy because God answered our prayers and now we are discharged home to continue with insulin therapy.
