Nakara Joseph

Nakara Joseph a 72 year old male patient from wogo village about 5 km away from the clinic was diagnosed with typhoid fever and Gardiasis.

Typhoid fever develops after eating food or drinking water contaminated with the Salmonella typhi bacteria. The bacteria causes a high temperature, stomach pain and constipation or diarrhoea. Left untreated, the bacteria can get into the bloodstream and spread to other areas of the body. Giardiasis is a diarrheal disease caused by the microscopic parasite Giardia duodenalis.

He was admitted in the clinic and had this to say on discharge.

I’m so happy that my health is much better than before. Before coming to the clinic, I thought it was the usual malaria and food poisoning upsetting me. I took anti-malarial (Coartem) and local herbs but with no improvement at all.
I will always be thankful to God and the clinic staffs for identifying the real cause of the disease and treating it correctly. May the almighty God bless you and protect you from all the dangers of this world.
