SUCCESS STORIES - CHARITY OPANI

Charity Opani is a member of Grace Community Savings and Credit Group (CSCG) whose livelihood has improved greatly through the CRESS Livelihood program. Before joining, she struggled with a limited and unstable source of income, which made it difficult to meet her household needs consistently. After receiving training on financial literacy, business mentorship session, Climate Smart Agriculture, CSCG methodology and saving, and gaining access to loans in the CSCG program, she was able to establish and grow her small business.
Today, Charity successfully runs her own business, which provides a steady income for her family. She has gained important skills in savings, customer care, and basic business management, all of which have helped her improve and expand her enterprise. Through her efforts, she is now able to support her family’s needs. Her progress has encouraged other CSCG members to consider starting or improving their own businesses. Charity remains a strong example of commitment, resilience, and positive change within the groups.
