Olivia’s Trip – Sunday 5th May

Livy ( Olivia Jones ) from Ebbesbourne Wake has travelled out to Northern Uganda in her role as CRESS agricultural adviser.

Olivia arrived safely in Entebbe to stormy and noisy weather again! The morning was calm and sunny so she visited the market.

In Entebbe Botanical Gardens

She later visited Entebbe Botanical Gardens with guide Rafiki which means friend in swahili. He is explaining the difference between bread-fruit pictured, and jack-fruit which are both Artocarpus species and are both important as alternative food where there is food insecurity.
