TOY & MEAL APPEAL
The children we support with CATT (Children’s Accelerated Trauma Therapy) really do have nothing. They are refugees whose families travelled with the bare essentials to Uganda and have found there a
safer environment, but also unemployment and difficulties with small food rations and dispersed families. The children who are supported through our CATT programme are recommended through the Mothers’ Union, church and family networks. Many will just have one meal a day of beans or maize.

AGRICULTURE/SMALL BUSINESS VEHICLE APPEAL
Transport is key for all project work in Africa where distances are great and road quality poor. For agriculture the importance of transport is even greater. The inputs into the project, sprayers, cans and barrels, fertile soil and animal manure are bulky and feedback from the field is that farmers need transport to access larger markets where their produce will achieve higher prices, especially during harvest gluts.
Purchasing the farmers truck, with the proposal that ongoing running costs are shared by all the groups, is an exciting opportunity to increase the income of the groups and help individuals support their families. ALL donations gratefully received towards £5,000 cost and £2,500 running & maintenance for the first year.

Mosquito nets
CLINIC APPEAL
In Mijale, in rural northern Uganda, we operate the most advanced health care clinic in the area with a goal of curbing high rates of death by
preventable illness (malaria, water borne illness, parasites, maternal death, infant death, and STDs). We are on track to help over 12,000 in 2021.
To continue our work in 2022 we need to raise funds for:
£15 for 10 mosquito nets (1500 needed)
£125 lockers for inpatients (6 requested)
£200 staff training £30/month+ towards salaries
£1000 6 months scanner operator fees
£250/month for second midwife to meet increased demand
