A sad farewell to Andrew Robertson
Joseph Aba’s father sadly passed
On Sunday 16th July 2017 Tom Clarke the nephew of Caroline Lamb cycled his second stage of the Tour de France, having tackled his first for CRESS back in 2015 when he raising over £7,000.
Tom finished in under seven hours putting him in the top 1,000, a huge achievement when you consider 13,000 riders took part. The stage completed took in the Col de Vars and the Izoard both greater than 1200m of vertical climbing! So far he has raised over £4,000 and there is still time to show your support here.
Even more amazing is that Tom completed the race on the Sunday and caught an early flight from Geneva to be back at his desk on Monday morning at 9.00am!!
Money raised by Tom will enable a mechanical workshop to be set to provide work and enable training of young South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.
Huge congratulations to Tom for completing another stage of the Tour de France and massive thank you for supporting CRESS.
