The Story of Bethy the Midwife

We wanted to let you know about an amazing lady called Bethy, who serves as a midwife for CRESS in the Jehova Rapha Clinic in Uganda.

Her role is multi-faceted and vitally ensures a healthy outcome for both the pregnant mothers and their new babies. As well as free medical and health support, Bethy is also able to support their practical needs and educate the mothers to help prevent future complications and illness and with family spacing. Last year, Bethy single-handedly helped mothers to deliver 218 babies.

Having heard Bethy’s story, would you be prepared to support towards the cost of her £3,000 annual salary? We have had a very generous anonymous donor agree to provide match funding for any donations.
