Olivia visits Eye Clinic

Today Olivia visited the third day of the eye health screen clinic in Mijale. She met the Drs from Arua who have come to complete the screening and the many patients who were waiting.

This treatment has never been available for this population before, as the distances and costs are prohibitive. It has long been the hope and prayer of the clinical team at Jehovah Rapa for this sort of work and Edward Mika who is overseeing the project is delighted with the uptake and impact this will have on many individuals’ lives.

Having the grant funding means this mobile clinic, moving staff and equipment to Mijale, has been possible and will happen again over the coming two years.
