Knighton Manor Open Day
Our leadership retreat concluded today. After breakfast, we met to discuss CRESS business and finalise our report, and then Bishop Emmanuel led us in an informal service of Holy Communion down by the lake. This was a memorable occasion when thanks was given for all the CRESS supporters in the UK, and prayers were offered for the people of South Sudan in this time of great need.
This afternoon, Emmanuel, Joseph and Fred left for Kampala. Tomorrow, Fred, and his driver Eric will be collecting the new CRESS pick-up vehicle and driving it back to Arua, a distance of around 900km. This vehicle will be used to deliver essential supplies into the camps and to provide Fred with safer transport than the motorbike he currently uses on the roads and tracks in North Uganda.
This evening I will be flying home to the UK so this is my final BLOG. Thank you for reading and please keep the refugee people of Kajo Keji in your prayers.
