Trip Blog – Tenth anniversary trip begins
Bosco Mabe is in this second year studying for Diploma in Clinical Medicines. As part of his course he has just completed an internship at Moyo General Hospital in the laboratory.
His mentor Senior Lab Technologist, Amaseku Kizito has sent through this excellent report:
I am pleased to write a recommendation for MABE BOSCO who has been attached to Moyo General Hospital, the lab in which I started my lab profession and update, this has offered me an opportunity not only to meet but to train and supervise a number of committed lab professionals in the pipeline and I can proudly say that he is one of them.
For the last two months, he has been one of the students attached to my laboratory and I can attest to the hard work and commitment towards learning all the laboratory disciplines being practiced in the laboratory and even beyond.
In addition to the … success story I have mentioned he has been one of the most disciplined students ever attached to my lab, which has left him with all options to freely interact not only with laboratory staff but almost all the hospital staff which is very recommendable as far as team work is concerned for proper patient management.
In conclusion, we the lab staff on behalf of the hospital general staff are so much indebted to the Chemequip Clinical Medical Laboratory Training School and Moyo District Local Government (MDLG) for such a wonderful attachment to our laboratory and the hospital at large, looking forward to receiving more of the students from your institution.”
Congratulations Bosco and we look forward to hearing more about your studies.
