Ugandan Certificates of Education
Bishop Jospeh Aba in UK
This week, Caroline caught up with the clinic team on Zoom, and enjoyed hearing them talk about their work. Midwife Bethy had already delivered two babies that morning before the meeting began!
Last year, the team had a significant change in staff as Lulu and Jojo Seme returned to education and were replaced by Candia Natal Drakana and Kiden Reida Simon and a new team member, field midwife, Nsimenta Asaba joined.
In January we received this wonderful photo of the day five babies were born at the clinic and Caroline heard how the two midwives work together in the camps and in shifts at the clinic to provide the best service to the mothers who come to them for advice and deliveries. They would like to say a big THANK YOU to the knitters who sent out baby jumpers and hats for the newborns - they love them!
She also heard about the electric centrifuge which was recently donated and we look forward to a full report on this soon.
