Five babies delivered in one day
Annual Report 2022
Bishop Joseph Aba has spent an inspiring week with us in Wiltshire, and here is a little round-up.
Saturday 4th, he came to the very well-appreciated Musical Evening in Knighton Manor where Camilla played and sang so beautifully.
Caroline wrapped him up warm on Sunday when they visited Salisbury Cathedral.... but there was still time for it to get colder!
He visited Wellspring in Boradchalke Village Hall on Tuesday morning and shared his inspiring story among a wonderful morning of praise worship.
Then in the evening he spoke to the Trustees at their meeting and shared his thanks for their work and his hopes for the future.
Wednesday, Bishops' wish to see snow was granted and he was delighted to wake up to a full blanket of snow. Thankfully it didn't hinder travelling to the Lent Lunch and Winterbourne Earls.
Thursday was a day in the Wylye Valley, meeting over coffee and lunch with CRESS supporters there.
Friday was our big lent event, Meet Bishop Jospeh at Broadchalke Village Hall. There were wonderful nibbles and chatter before a talke by Caroline, Olivia and Bishop Joseph about life in the refugee camp, how CRESS helps and how the Lent Project will help enable the savings group members to be trained in agriculture. At the end of the evening Bishop Jospeh was presented with a Man United shirt, which brought delight to the room.
Saturday Bishop took a day trip to the sea and even embarked on a boat around the quiet waters of Poole Harbour.
