Charity Gala Evening
On Wednesday 28th September 2016 at Salisbury Cathedral Refectory you are invited to an evening of Chamber music and dining featuring The Fisher Ensemble.
The Fisher Ensemble is an Octet of professional String Players who all met at The Royal Academy of Music in London. They now individually play with various orchestras and ensembles across the UK such as The Academy of St Martin in the Fields, The Philharmonia Orchestra and The Royal Opera House and include members of the LSO and The BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
Salisbury’s own Katie Littlemore and George White are members of the ensemble and are delighted to be performing in Salisbury again. They are both former pupils of The Salisbury Cathedral School.
The evening hopes to raise funds for CRESS, whilst enjoying music by Mozart and the two famous string Octets by Shostakovich and Mendelsohn
CRESS is delighted to have secured sponsorship for the evening from local firms, Woolley and Wallis Salerooms, Accountants Fawcetts and Chris Littlemore Chartered Architect.
Tickets are available from Salisbury Playhouse and are priced at £40.
