Adult Emotional Health

The CATT (Children's Accelerated Trauma Therapy) team are acutely aware of the emotional health of adult refugees and have undertaken counselling for seven of them this month in the small rural villages of northern Uganda.

Future Plans

  • Trauma Teaching will take place in Imvepi Refugee Camp on 6th August
  • A follow-up will take place towards the end of the year to find out how they are coping.
  • Trauma awareness in new locations of Loggo IDP Camp, Kololo, Kerwa, Bidi-Bidi Refugees Camp

This single mother of four lost her husband during a mob justice raid in a small village of Osubira. She undergoing trauma counselling and responding so well.
