A quiet success story is unfolding — one egg at a time
HOPE IN MOTION: A NEW CHAPTER FOR MAMA AGNES
Meet Mama Agnes, a courageous widow and mother of six, who faced unimaginable hardship after losing her husband and becoming paralysed from the waist down following spinal surgery.
Life in Juba was a daily struggle. Locked indoors while her son worked long hours as a bodaboda rider, she endured isolation and uncertainty—until hope found her.
In her own words:
"Thanks to your support, I was safely relocated to Imvepi Refugee Camp. Here, I’m surrounded by my children and grandchildren, and no longer isolated... The new wheelchair you gave me—safe, sturdy, and even with a built-in toilet—has brought great relief to me and my children. It’s something I never dreamed I would have."
A special thank you to donors from Wellspring, Broadchalke and individual donors for making this miracle possible. Because of your generosity, Mama Agnes now moves with dignity and lives with hope.
Let’s keep changing lives—one act of compassion at a time.
