Community Process Facilitators – Achile Moses
In June, we told the story of a young woman called Sunday Rose. In her life, Rose has experience child marriage and childbirth as a young teenager. She has survived displacement due to war and conflict, domestic violence, and poverty, and has been left with lifelong injuries, scarring and chronic pain.
CRESS Field Midwife, Asaba, met Rose when she became pregnant with her seventh child. She has worked hard to build trust with Rose and support her.
We are delighted to say that Sunday Rose safely delivered a healthy baby in August.
With your support Asaba can carry lifesaving supplies into settlements, stop for the woman she meets on the road, and turn a moment of crisis into a moment of care and protection. Your continued support makes it possible to reach women like Sunday — whether they are CSCG members, vulnerable refugees, or mothers in the host community — and to offer both immediate lifesaving items and the longer term care that restores safety, health and hope.
