Thanks to a generous individual donation, a group of farmers in Rhino camp each received a pair of gum boots for protect their feet as they care for their crops. The rainy season is just beginning in Uganda so these will be extremely useful in the coming weeks!
Meet Asianzo Faima, a dedicated member of Friendly Community Savings and Credit Group (CSCG) in Mijale. Through her savings group, she accessed a loan of UGX 400,000, which she strategically invested in tomato production. Today, her investment is paying off as she has begun harvesting her tomatoes in abundance.
In addition to her successful tomato farming enterprise, Faima has used her savings to establish a general merchandise business, further diversifying her sources of income and strengthening her family's livelihood.
