The Self-Reliance and Resilient Livelihoods Project

CRESS Annual Report 2025
Nurturing the spiritual and moral well-being of refugee and host communities is a key goal of CRESS’ Evangelism and Discipleship projects. By integrating spiritual growth with practical support, such as education, vocational training, and community development initiatives, this approach fosters resilience and hope in displaced populations in Imvepi and Rhino Camp refugee settlements.
Key highlights of 2025 include:
- Reaching 22,416 children through 60 Good News Clubs, 36 Sunday schools, 114 Christmas party Clubs and 15 schools where school ministries were conducted.
- Training 372 Children’s Workers in safeguarding and child protection for ministry in schools and churches
- Establishing 87 fellowship groups for young Christian women, creating spaces for spiritual growth and mentorship.
- Forming 78 Bible study groups, enabling more individuals to engage with Scripture and grow in faith.
- Distributing bibles, notebooks, teaching materials, soaps, and games and sweets for children’s work to congregations throughout Imvepi and Rhino camps.
