Five Days Clubs in Imvepi

Fruit Trees
A 3 days 'Training of Trainers' workshop for Community Process Facilitators (CPFs) on business planning and action audit kicked off today at CRESS Africa Foundation head office in Arua. There was wonderful facilitation from an external trainer, and the participation from the CPFs was massive.
CPFs work within multiple communities training, overseeing, and advising Savings and Savings & Agriculture Groups. The CPFs themselves are refugees and work within their own camps to provide help and support to fellow refugees. This approach is unique to CRESS, it means greater trust in the community and faster progress. We are so proud of our CPF programme and our CPF team!
Community Savings and Credit Groups (CSCGs) acts like a community bank. Members put their money in and can then ask for loans for business or the needs of their family. They repay over time with interest. The groups also are encouraged to be involved in projects together to raise funds which are distributed yearly.
