Tom Clarke raises over £6,000 for Cress – WoW!
Malaria is a common occurence
Caroline has received email from Joseph saying Gary Ion was driving to Kajo Keji and could bring the solar panels and batteries back so could I send the money, which of course she did! We transfer money via Western Union – an excellent system so simple and quick with very low charges; £4,000 costing just £2.90 to send which is amazing really!
How wonderful that we have enough money to purchase this equipment which will make such a huge difference to Joseph in his home and enabling the clinic to run laptops and a vitally needed fridge!
We take our own power for granted every day as we switch a switch and the light comes on or as we open the door the fridge or as we charge our many devices. The solar panels will truly make a difference and we are so grateful to all our supporters for making this a reality in South Sudan!
