Five Days Clubs in Imvepi

These are members of the Pamugun Agriculture group in Mijale. They have had huge success growing sukumawiki (kale), even through a long dry season.

A total of 2,610 fruit trees comprising of grafted mango, orange, and guava were delivered yesterday to Rhino Camp, Imvepi, and Mijale. These will be distributed to 870 Community Savings and Credit Group (CSCG) members.

Rose Sadia, a CSCG member of Eden 6 in Rhino Camp, is growing cassava to eat and sell. She's standing in the middle of her large crop. Cassava is a staple food and is becoming more important to the communities we serve as foreign aid is being reduced.

Kiden Annet from Pamungu Agriculture group is 18 years old. She had to leave her education after becoming an orphan as she could no longer afford to go to school. She became a CSCG member and now grows a variety of crops.

Another beautiful harvest from Mary Sunday, a CSCG member in Mijale. She has realised up to 300,000 UGX (~£100) from her tomato harvest.

CRESS Africa Foundation's small office garden is making a huge impact. Here, CAF team member Lulu Emmanuel is holding some of the bumper carrot harvest. They have also seen shuge success with growing peppers.
