Broad Chalke School shows their support for Cress
Busy day with Sophie Blick working with Caroline to catch up with the Cress admin, together they worked on the first MailChimp newsletter, which it is planned will go out monthly to the charities regular donors and supporters. You can sign up to receive the Cress newsletter by visiting our Facebook page, clicking the sign up tab and submitting your details .. all very easy we promise!
In the afternoon Caroline returned to her old school Godolphin in Salisbury to meet Stella Jones, who is head of the 6th form boarding and also in charge of their charity work. Caroline was delighted to be back at the school, she had loved EVERY minute of her time there and has such happy memories.
Caroline met Stella in Costa Café – the girls own in house coffee shop, shows how times have changed! Stella loves hearing about Cress and hopes to visit South Sudan one day! She is also keen to encourage the girls to support the work of the charity and hopes that the girls might choose Cress as one of the charities who will benefit from their sponsored walk at the beginning of September. The money raised would pay for a borehole at the Liwolo Clinic, meaning water on the doorstep.
