Jesus film in Mijale

Food rations cease July 2023
The clinic garden is located in Mijale. It’s about 100 meters west of the clinic staff quarters.
The garden is to provide nutrient-rich vegetables to the clinic staff members to supplement their daily feeding. There are also fruit trees and other crops such as maize and groundnuts planted in the garden as well.

What is in the garden?
The garden is planted with:
Fruit trees;
- Jack Fruit
- Grafted mango
- Avocado
- Sweet Oranges
- Banana suckers
Vegetables;
- Tomatoes
- Sukumawiki
- Onions
- Okra
Other Crops ;
- Maize
- Ground nuts
Challenges in the garden
Due to the openness of the garden, the area is prone to encroachment by human beings and animals such as, goats and pigs. This has led to trees being destroyed by the animals especially avocado plants.
What can we do?
It would be amazing if we could fence off part of the garden to provide protection for the plants. The agriculture team are looking into the costs for us and then we will see if we can find funding.
If you can help, please get in touch.
