The Clinic in Mijale has undertaken the training of a large team who are now able to administer vitamin A to all the children aged under 5 years in Imvepi Camp and the Gobor and Mijale bush areas. This is a huge undertaking but so important as it helps:

• Keeps the bodies metabolism running smoothly
• Build bones
• Protect the eyes from night blindness and helps preserve sight
• Supports a healthy immune system and reduces the likelihood of dying of Malaria and Typhoid – malaria being the most common disease seen and treated at the CRESS funded clinic in Mijale.

The clinic in Mijale is distributing the multivitamins and anti-worming as the mothers and children come to the clinic.
