Web Site Almost there !!
Hello everyone
Here we are again in Uganda
I am here with Adrian Burholt who has the grand title of Strategic Adviser – we worked on documents on the flight and then this morning at the lovely Lake Victoria Hotel
We had stayed the night in a simple guest house recommended to me and used by the Gorilla Tours company – then we both took one boda boda ( motorcycle ride ) to the Lake Victoria hotel (It is too expensive to stay in )
On this cycle was the driver, both of us and a bulky suitcase and bulky backpack.- we made it by travelling via the money changer !! The journey cost the princely sum of 75p.
The Lake Vic hotel is great to work at – internet, good food and serve and a chance to swim in the lovely warm huge pool. The only one in Entebbe. Fortunately the cost to use it is only £6.00
We then took a taxi with Patrick who I use whenever I am in Entebbe. Meeting Joseph, Emmanuel and Golda at Namierembe Guest House – straight into work with 3 hours discussion and note taking. J and E very pleased to have computer cases and also new phones.
And the great joy the plaque made by Richard Trahair for the clinic – this then was followed by cheers and a high 5. And will be unveiled in September
