Raida's Story
"My name is Raida, I am 35 years old and from Kilaji village, about 6 miles from JEHOVAH RAPHA CLINIC (JRC). It takes me 2 hours from Kilaji to get to JRC.
JEHOVAH RAPHA CLINIC is a good health care centre. When I came to the clinic here, the staff were all cooperative and welcomed me. I was given the treatment without delay unlike other clinics which take time to attend to the sicknesses, somebody can even die while waiting for treatment.
In my case, which was very serious, I had no hope of survival. I had severe epigastric pain which later involved the whole of my abdomen, diarrhoea and vomiting. I collapsed and then was rushed to JRC. I was attended to very fast and given treatment. I recovered within 3 hours and my doctor told me I had low blood pressure following the diarrhoea and vomiting and that I also have severe peptic ulcer disease (PUD). Also severe Malaria was revealed after laboratory investigations and results.
If I was not brought to JRC, and treated very fast, I would have died and left my baby boy of 1-month-old as an orphan!!!!
Thank CRESS for its beautiful services to our people.
"My name is Yangi, I come from Rodo village, 3 miles away from JEHOVAH RAPHA CLINIC (JRC) which takes me about 1 hour walking.
When I come to JRC, I am always welcomed with love and given treatment very quickly.
I am given treatment very quickly even if I do not have money at hand at that moment, I can be treated and go to look for money and come to pay later. Compared to the other clinics who ask for money before treatment, even somebody can die when the doctor is there watching.
I have improved from my serious sickness of severe cough and difficulty in breathing. I had shortness of breath and could not talk, I was brought to JEHOVAH RAPHA CLINIC in a life-threatening situation, I was attended to very fast and improved and within short time and my life was back to normal. The doctor told me I have asthma and was having a very severe form of the asthmatic attack. If I had not been treated so fast, I do not know what would happen, whether or not I would have died.
Thank God for Bringing JRC to save our lives in Mijale here. Also thank CRESS for the support they offer to JRC.
