Preparations being undertaken to cut the fabric ready for RUMPs to be made the following day
The first RUMPs (Reusable Menstrual Pads) training sessions of 2020 was completed last week in the refugee camps 3 hours drive from Arua.

Demonstration on how the RUMPS are made
Jeska Poni, Education Coordinator, and Edward Mika, Clinical Officer at the CRESS funded clinic in the Mijali, journeyed out to the refugee camps to start the three-day training programme. The training programme includes hygiene, family planning and menstrual cycle training as well as making reusable menstrual pads with the girls and young women in the community.
The training was funded by a generous grant from Womens’ World Day of Prayer.
If you are interested in finding out more about the RUMPs training we provide or supporting this project, you can read more on our RUMPs Project page.
