Another interesting day. The wind is blowing so maybe rain on its way soon. It is late hence the delay in all the veg gardens.

Here I am with Mama Yunia, CRESS Agriculture officer, after conducting my training for all the agriculture and project office teams and other staff. I focused on comparing intensive and extensive farming strategies, and the importance of sustainability using organic inputs and crop rotation.

Dyana Diawa, leader of Point E women’s group in Imvepi refugee camp, is showing me her group’s innovative way of protecting all their vegetable seedlings from chickens. They have fixed mosquito netting around the base of their bed shades. Its a brilliant idea!
Smart phones delivered
Bishop Joseph with his package and his new jacket with LOTS of zips to stop people stealing off him when he is in the bus !!!!!Noel, Julius and Isaac who work with CRESS in the office received their new phones from Olivia today.
