February News: Caroline and The Big Give
Thanks from parents
An exciting week for the Education team as Scopas accompanies a group of older students to Kampala and meets some CRESS sponsored students already there. The standard of education in Kampala is higher than in Arua, and prospects for passing A Levels are better which is why these older students make the journey and find schools there.
Scopas says:
"They are enjoying meals of chicken, meat with drinks.
They sleep in a good house in the hotel and each in his or her own room ! Some it's for the first time !
This is an exciting experience for them, their first time in Kampala. They were surprised to see the tall buildings in town and the number of people and cars in Kampala."
They would love to share their heart-felt gratitude with CRESS supporters for facilitating their improved educational opportunities.
More education news to follow later this week as we will be celebrating PLE passes and two graduations...
