In February the CRESS funded clinic midwife Bethy safely delivered 18 babies.
The nurse and clinical officer at the clinic also see many expectant mothers. In February they saw and treated pregnant women with typhoid fever, syphilis, malaria and peptic ulcer disease.
A total of 64 expectant mothers attended antenatal classes. Here are some who have received their Mamas Kits which contain needed to help provide a clean and safe delivery. Each mama kit contains plastic sheeting, razor blades, cotton wool, gauze pad, soap, gloves, cord ties, and a child health card.
