Jackie is back in the clinic!

Jackie started volunteering in the clinic when she was just 16 years old and the clinic was based in South Sudan. She started out helping in the dispensary, keeping records and handling the money. CRESS paid her a small amount, a pocket money type wage.

When the clinic moved to Uganda there were new regulations which meant she couldn’t continue working in the clinic without the relevant qualifications. CRESS helped her start her diploma in Nursing and she has now returned as an intern to the clinic as part of her practical training and we are very pleased to see her again!
