Primary Leaving Exam Success
Graduation – Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
The CRESS team would like to say huge congratulations to Isaac Kwaje for graduating with a second class upper Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
CRESS education sponsors began supporting Isaac's education in 2014 when he was in Senior 3. In March 2017 Isaac started a course in Arua for a diploma in Business Administration. He graduated with a first in 2019 and went back to his parents in the refugee settlement in Palorinya, there he felt hopeless and helpless as there was no work nor use of his qualifications. So he went to Juba to seek work. He found a local job, but then Covid hit and the work stopped. No work left him destitute and in his desperation he wrote to Bishop Joseph in Arua, who responded with a voluntary role. He moved to Arua and worked as a volunteer until a post became available as a cashier, which he applied for and won!
He has been working in the accounts department eversince and enrolled in night school to complete this degree.
We are all so proud of his achievement and thank Isaac for his work and commitment to improve through his studies.
Scopas represented the education department for CRESS at the graduation and Ivan Kenyi, who works in the CRESS funded clinic in accounts also attended. Isaac has been working closely with Ivan to immprove his skills and this great teamwork will help CRESS's projects to continue to grow and develop in Northern Uganda.
