Part of the plan to make the projects of CRESS in Uganda more sustainable is to utilise the garden spaces around the office and clinic to produce food for the staff.
Our monthly report from DOL share that:
“We have planted more pineapple suckers in our office garden. 105 newly planted suckers and 26 planted earlier, giving a total of 131 suckers all planted around the office garden.”
At the clinic, the eggplants (aubergines) are growing well, and they are looking forward to a harvest in the coming months. The dry season has begun in Uganda so watering of these and the tomato plants has become necessary.
