Liwolo Clinic continues to make a difference
TIA … this is Africa
I was again really thrilled to read the entry from Cilla and Ellen both first timers to visit the Liwolo Clinic. They were clearly impressed with what has been happening over the last year since the clinic opened. This just reminds me of the very first time I saw the clinic in September 2010 and was so shocked at the health conditions of the country and was approached by Samuel the Development Officer in Liwolo who asked me to do something.
At that time CRESS had not been started and I just said I was on my own and there was nothing that could be done – how wrong I was ! It seems that this medical situation was on God’s heart and through other CRESS visitors coming out and then sharing the story back at their homes both in the Chalke Valley and Devizes a wonderful primary health care establishment has been birthed.
Fred Taban is here in the Chalke Valley – and has been following the blog with interest as well as working hard. Today he spent the day at Sarum College Library to study material for his dissertation.
Jenny and Geoffrey Taylor organised for him to have access to the extensive library – this has been a great success.
