The long awaited CATT (Children’s accelerated Trauma Training) has taken place – this project was funded by the Luna Charity, CRESS and Salisbury Diocese.
Edward Mika the Head of the CRESS funded Mijale Clinic wrote to Caroline:
“I am really very happy that the CATT training has been completed successfully. 19 South Sudanese participants attended the training, 15 participants were from the refugee camps.
All the 12 protocols or the elements of the CATT training were covered and the practicals completed.
Thank God all the participants passed. Dr Elias and Umar Candia gave the training and were very happy with the training and the participation of the trainees.”

When you finally came and we started locating each other on phone it looked like a dream. I am now very happy that all that looked like impossible ideas has culminated into realization of 19 people who can deliver CATT to children whom they can ably identify with a need for it. My thanks go to you and all those involved in the mobilization of funds for the training and the coordination work you have done with all stakeholders involved. Thank you. Umar Candia
