CRESS AGM 2022
Olivia’s Trip Begins
Back in December many of you kindly donated money so that we could purchase gifts for the children who have undergone CATT (Children’s Accelerated Trauma Therapy) with our counsellors in Uganda. We were able to send out money to purchase skipping ropes, footballs, second-hand clothing, exercise books, pens and pencils which were very much appreciated. Many of these children have suffered serious trauma due to war and being displaced and for many of them this will be the only new gift they have ever received.
Below are photos of the children receiving and enjoying their books, play things and in specific cases clothing too.
Mijale
Korji Camp
Goboro
Morobi
Belameling
Once again a huge thank you to those who donated.
As well as these gifts we regularly send out biscuits for the children who come to counselling sessions and provide soaps for those who come to the community awareness sessions run by counsellors on PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and CATT.
You can find out more about our CATT Project here or get in touch.
